About Us

                          When it comes to marketing, there are only two things to be concerned about:
                          getting a new customer to buy (acquisition) and an existing customer to buy again
                          (retention). 
Without success in those key business activities, nothing else really matters.

                          Lew and Anita Williams are deeply experienced in how to engage prospects, turn them
                          into customers and build loyalty that results in additional sales and referrals. 

                          They have worked as a team since 1985 writing sales copy for such catalog companies as
                          The Popcorn Factory, Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts and Hershey's, as well as writing major
                          integrated marketing campaigns for such companies as MET-Rx and Bradford National Life
                          Insurance Co.

                            Lew Williams

                          Lew has been a self-employed direct response writer and marketing consultant for most
                          of his career. 

                          There were two exceptions.  In one case a large holding company hired him to become
                          President of Continental Advertising, Inc., a direct response and sales promotion agency
                          that handled numerous national accounts including Jack Tar Hotels & Resorts,
Adventure
                          Tours USA and Reserve Life Insurance Co.

                          He also served as Executive Vice President - Marketing of Lead Marketing International, Inc.,
                          which was one of the largest
lead generation firms in the nation. The facility had the capability
                          to drop a million pieces of mail per day.

                          He directed all marketing activities and supervised creative development for business clients
                          as well
as political and non-profit organizations.  Lead Marketing became a client when he
                          launched his own direct response consultancy.

                          Lew is also an infopreneur who has written and published The Complete Consulting Success
                          System,
Free Agent Fast Track and Consulting Opportunities Journal. His consulting course
                          was endorsed by the National Bureau of Certified Consultants, which has merged with the
                          Institute of Management Consultants.

                          He received the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) accreditation from the Institute of
                          Management Consultants.

                          He is a past President and "Sales Promotion Man of the Year" of the Dallas Chapter of the
                          Sales Promotion Executives Association. In addition, he is a past two-term Board Member
                          of
the Marketing Communications Executives International.

 

                            Anita Williams

                          Anita, an award-winning writer, has been a direct marketing writer and creative director for over
                          30 years.  She, too, worked at Continental Advertising, Inc., where Lew was her mentor.  When
                          Lew left the agency, she became the first woman CEO to head one of the many firms owned by
                          the holding company in its 40+ year history.

                          She has been an independent consultant since 1985 and provided behind the scenes expertise
                          to a number of the largest ad agencies in
Dallas

                          Her copy produced millions of dollars of sales for The Popcorn Factory catalog and revitalized
                          the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut catalog with sales that more than tripled the projected sales.
                          In addition, she wrote catalogs for other well known companies, including the first video catalog
                          for Disney.

                          Anita wrote many GTE customer acquisition and retention mailings for both residential and
                          business customers during more than ten years through four different ad agencies. Ogilvy Dallas
                          recruited her to join the pre-merger team during the two years before GTE and Bell Atlantic merged
                          to become Verizon.

                          As a consultant, she acted as the senior writer on the account. The integrated campaign reduced
                          customer churn for both small business and residential segments from the highest to the lowest in
                          the industry in approximately 18 months.

                          Anita is also a public speaker.  In addition to conducting her own seminars and workshops, she
                          presented her "Killer Sales Letter Boot Camp" training at John Childers' Million Dollar Speaker

while directing his marketing efforts.

                         In addition, she's the author of several books.
